About the Friends
The Friends of the Baraboo Public Library is an association of people interested in assisting and promoting the Baraboo Public Library.
The Friends of the Library...
- Support the Library with fund raising activities for immediate and long-range needs
- Encourage gifts, endowments, bequests, and memorials from individuals and groups
- Provide volunteer support
- Engage in advocacy activities with local, state, and national funding agencies
- Promote positive relations between the Library and the residents of its service area
- Promote involvement of local citizens in the activities of the Library
- Promote Library services, resources, programs, and activities
- Sponsor library-related programs and activities that contribute to the cultural opportunities of the community
Membership
Membership in the Friends of the Baraboo Public Library is available at three levels: $5 for an individual; $10 for a family; and $100 for a lifetime membership. Fill out a printable application (pdf) and sign up at the Library anytime.
