Babies Splash!

Crafts:

Jellyfish Hat

Supplies:

2 or 3 inch strip of construction paper for headband

Contrasting colored sheets of tissue paper

Construction:

Form a headband with the construction paper to fit head size and staple.

Use a full sheet of tissue paper for the jelly fish body.

Staple the edge onto the headband making pleats as you go.

When finished, the tissue paper should be full and puffy.

Fold the headband to the inside of the puffy body of the jelly fish.

Fold a sheet of tissue paper in a contrasting color in half and staple to the inside of the headband.

Lay the tissue paper flat on a cutting surface and cut inward at about one inch intervals to create the tentacles.

Put on the hat and let the tentacles hang down.

Games:

Pin the Tail or Fin on the Shark
Play this game just like Pin the Tail on the Donkey
Use blue or gray poster board to make a shark without a tail or fin.Then use the same color poster board to cut a tail or fin for each player.
At party time add double stick tape on the tail/fin pieces to play the game.
Who ever is closest wins!

Shark Attack Game #1
With a permanent marker draw a basic shark face, with teeth on a white balloon. Players will stand in a circle. Play fun theme music while the children tap the shark balloon back and forth within the circle. The players will try to keep the balloon away from themselves.
After a bit of time, turn the music off. Whoever is touching the shark when the music stops is out. The last player is the winner.
