A note about our programs for young children:

  • Preschool Story Times are designed for both children and their adults to participate in together.  Parents and guardians help us teach the children valuable skills by encouraging excitement about books!
  • We ask that all preschool children attend our programs with an adult. If you care for more than 3-4 children and do not have other adults to assist you, please contact our staff for other programming options. Thank you for helping make our storytimes a positive experience for all families!
  • For more information on the pre-literacy skills that even the youngest children can begin to develop through regular storytimes, check out this guide created by librarian Anne Horjus
