Clown Workshop

The free family program will take place outside at the library. Step into the ring and learn how to perform circus acts: walking the "tight rope" and walking on "stilts." Greg DeSanto, a professional clown will present "how to put on face-painting" demonstration for children from 10 - 10:25 am on the east side of the library building. The library will NOT be having a face-painting activity for children due to COVID-19 safety concerns. Children may participate in a pie-throwing contest outside between 10:30-11 am outside on the west side of the library. If a child does decide to participate in the pie-throwing, they will be REQUIRED to wear a mask and gloves, provided by the library. We ask that the "pie throwing" participants bring their own towels to wipe the "pie" from their body. We will have some special dignitaries participate in the pie-throwing contest. This workshop is presented by Greg DeSanto, Executive Director of the International Clown Hall of Fame. For ages 3 - 11 years. Free.
