What is NaNoWriMo?

When:
Tuesday, October 23, 2018 - 6:00pm to 8:00pm
Where:
T.N. Savides Library, UW-Platteville Baraboo Sauk County Campus, 1006 Connie Rd., Baraboo, WI

As November approaches, we anticipate National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) in this introductory gathering. Many of us will attempt to write a 50,000 word manuscript between November 1 and November 30! Others will work to achieve some other writing milestone.

At this October 23 event, local author Kelly Dwyer will offer inspiration and tips to succeed in your writing goals. We'll introduce ourselves and share contact information, if desired. We'll discuss digital and print preservation methods, writing supplies and equipment, and other resources. Snacks will be provided.

This is the first of 6 meetings designed to inspire and support writers who want to reach a writing goal during NaNoWriMo. It is not a writing workshop.

This NaNoWriMo series is co-sponsored by the Baraboo Public Library and the UW-Platteville Baraboo Sauk County Library.
