The 2021 Youth Summer Programming brochure is now available. Click here.

The tickets for the Big Cat Rescue family program on Thursday, July 1 are all gone for both the 10 am session and 11 am session. We had number of limited tickets that we were allowed to give out per the contract we (the library) have signed with the WI Big Cat Rescue Center. Since we know we are not allowed to give out more tickets, we will not have a waiting list. (Carey Kipp, Youth Services Librarian).

Huge thanks to the following businesses/organizations that have co-sponosored several of our youth summer family programs: Wisconsin Holstein Association, Baraboo Theater Guild, WI Big Cat Rescue Center, Community First Bank, Sauk County Historical Society, Water's Edge Scientific LLC, International Clown Hall of Fame, International Crane Foundation, and Baraboo Parks, Recreation & Forestry Department.

We will be offering socially distanced/outside programming for both youth and teens. All youth programs will take place offsite this summer.

The 2021 Youth Summer Reading Program will run from Monday, June 7 - Saturday, August 14, 2021. The youth services department is open for browsing and resources, though our play area remains closed for the foreseeable future.

All of our programs in 2021 will be held outdoors or other locations (not at the library), due to the library expansion construction project.

The library does not have programming on days that the schools are closed due to inclement weather. Stay safe.
