Volunteer Information

Would you like to be a library hero? The Baraboo Public Library depends on a group of dedicated community volunteers to enhance our services.  These heroes assist with pulling materials for holds, mending books, preparing new materials, performing inside or outside building maintenance, selecting and delivering materials for homebound patrons, facilitating library programs, and more.

If you are interested in serving as a library hero, either on a weekly basis or for special projects, please fill out our online adult volunteer application. We can find a schedule and a project that fits your skills and availability.

We also need TEEN volunteers for the summer months.  If you have completed grades 6 - 12 and you want to spend a few hours helping us with children's programs this summer, please fill out the online teen volunteer application.

For more information, contact our volunteer coordinator, Penny Johnson.  Phone: 608-356-6166  Email: penny@baraboopubliclibrary.org

Active Library Volunteers:

You can access or change your schedule through the VicNet Volunteer Information Center.  You can also sign up for additional special projects when available.  If you have any questions about logging into the Volunteer Information Center, please contact Penny Johnson.
